Island expansion
New OneBlock islands start with a square border at radius 16. The turquoise wall appears as you approach the edge. It is enforced by the server, not just drawn on screen.
With the supported Slate quest integration, finish the main objective in each Island Expansion chapter to unlock the next tier. Tiers must be completed in order. The border grows by eight blocks of radius per tier, up to radius 80 at tier 8. Your team shares that progress. Use /dc island to check your tier.
Expanding gives you building space; it doesn’t fill the new area with blocks. Bring your own materials.
Expansion also unlocks gateway destinations. In the official 1.1.0 setup, these are the minimum tiers:

Unlocking a destination makes it eligible for the gateway; it doesn’t let you choose it on demand. The corresponding dimension mod must be installed and the destination enabled. Servers with custom settings may differ.
The border and tier logic belong to the custom mod. The normal quest-based unlock path needs Slate Quests and the matching quest content. Without that integration, don’t expect quest progression to expand an island.
