Getting started

For a new OneBlock game, choose Survival and check that the world type is Dimensional Chaos - OneBlock (Void). The mod selects it by default when you first open the new-world screen, but you can change it.

Mine the regenerating OneBlock for your first resources. Make tools and a safe platform before heading towards the gateway. Use the right tool for each block: being allowed to break it doesn’t always mean it will drop anything.

In the modpack, follow the Slate quest book for crafting goals and island expansion. Its 1.1.0 book has 118 quests, including eight expansion chapters. Those quests use the pack’s mods and supported Slate integration; they don’t all work with just the custom mod installed.

These commands are useful while you get settled:

Command	What it shows
/dc oneblock info	Your phase, mined-block count and progress to the next phase
/dc island	Your expansion tier and next tier
/dc border	The border around your current island area
/dc expedition	Your expedition or escape status

Check the gateway timer before entering. You get the time left in the current cycle, not a fresh 15 minutes. Read Dimensional expeditions before your first trip.
